Switch from a notetaker to WingRep and close deals 50% faster.
Notetakers give reps a transcript. WingRep gives reps an AI sales performance team that preps you before every call, coaches you live, gives feedback after, auto-syncs to your CRM, and sends customizable reports straight to your inbox.

The short answer: WingRep replaces a notetaker rather than competing with one. A notetaker records the call and writes a summary. WingRep prepares the rep before the call, guides them during it, then writes the CRM update and the follow-up afterward. Choose a notetaker if you only need a transcript.
Choose WingRep if
- You want reps prepared before the call, not just documented after it.
- You want live guidance when a pricing or security question lands mid-call.
- You want CRM fields and follow-up emails written without rep effort.
- You want managers to see coaching trends across reps, not isolated transcripts.
Choose a notetaker if
- You only need a searchable record of meetings across the whole company.
- Your buyers are not in a sales motion, so qualification and pipeline scoring add nothing.
- You already have a coaching system your reps use and only need capture.
- Budget only allows a low-cost transcription tool right now.

Common questions
What teams ask when they move from a notetaker to WingRep.
What is the difference between WingRep and an AI notetaker?
An AI notetaker captures the conversation. It joins the meeting, transcribes it, and sends a summary afterward. That is where its job ends. WingRep works across the whole call cycle. Before the call it sends the rep a gameplan with account history, likely objections, and the next best ask. During the call it nudges the rep when a hard question lands. After the call it writes the debrief, updates the CRM fields, and drafts the follow-up email. The notetaker leaves the rep with a document to read. WingRep leaves the rep with the work already done.
Can WingRep replace my existing notetaker, or do I run both?
Most teams replace the notetaker. WingRep records, transcribes, and summarizes calls, so keeping a second capture tool usually adds cost without adding capability. Some companies keep a general-purpose notetaker for non-sales meetings such as internal standups and support calls, and run WingRep on customer-facing calls where prep, live guidance, and CRM hygiene matter. Both approaches work. If you are consolidating tools, WingRep covers the notetaker use case as a subset of what it does.
Does WingRep update the CRM automatically?
Yes. WingRep syncs directly with Salesforce and HubSpot. After a call it maps what was said to the fields your team actually uses: next steps, decision criteria, competitors mentioned, stage, close date signals, and qualification framework fields such as MEDDIC or BANT. A notetaker at best attaches a transcript to the record. The practical difference shows up in forecasting, because the pipeline reflects the conversation instead of whatever the rep remembered to type at the end of the week.
How does real-time coaching work during a live call?
WingRep joins the call alongside the rep and listens for moments where reps commonly lose ground: a pricing challenge, a security or compliance question, a competitor mention, or a stall on next steps. When one of those moments happens it surfaces a short nudge with the answer or the question to ask next, drawn from your own playbooks and product material. The nudge is visible only to the rep. Nothing is announced to the buyer, and nothing interrupts the conversation.
Do reps have to learn a new dashboard?
No. Prep arrives by email before the call and the debrief and follow-up draft arrive by email after it, so the daily workflow happens in the inbox reps already live in. There is a web app for managers and for reps who want to search past calls or ask questions about an account, but adoption does not depend on anyone logging in. That matters because the most common reason coaching tools fail is that reps never open them.
What does WingRep cost compared to a notetaker?
WingRep is $50 per seat per month on the team plan, with a 30-day trial, and enterprise pricing for teams of 20 or more. Consumer notetakers are cheaper per seat, often free at low volume, because they only do capture. The fair comparison is not transcript against transcript, it is the notetaker plus whatever you spend on prep, coaching, CRM hygiene, and follow-up against WingRep doing those four things. Current plans are on the pricing page.
Is call data secure, and is WingRep compliant?
WingRep is SOC 2 Type II compliant. Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest, tenants are isolated, and access is controlled with role-based permissions and multi-factor authentication. Customer content is not used to train AI models except as explicitly agreed with the customer. Full detail, including current reports and subprocessors, is published on the trust page.
